Big-berrired Manzanita. Small population in the camp ground. This is a late blooming species.
Bumble Bee takes advantage of the winter nectar on Big-berried Manzanita.
Oak hybird between a Black Oak and a live oak species. In the winter, it can't decide to be evergreen or deciduous. Note the leaves resemble Black Oak in shape, though they are much smaller. They also possess the spines of the the live oaks.
Pink-flowering Current, an early bloomer.
Remains of the fruit of Pitcher Sage
Fog fills the valley as the high hills break its surface.
